Excerpt from Hidden In A Hawaiian Sunset

Dear readers, Maybe I have a taste for blogging, after all. Its only day two and I'm already posting again. I didn't see this coming, but hey! Encouraged.  Let me just say that I love my first book. If you happen to read the little darling and like it, then we share something in common. It feels pleasant to know that I am not alone in what I love. So I mentally shake hands with my favorable readers. On the dreaded other hand, you read my book and don't like it. Maybe its just not your cup of tea, but this is also okay. A shame, granted, but you can't please everyone.   I can feel this way because writing is fun to me. Do I think I'm going to be some great paragon of literature? Ah, no. I chuckle at the thought. I'm just a writer with stories to tell. I have a few avid fans and I love them to pieces. I hope more will follow because its simply more fun to be excited about something in mass. Any rock concert or movie premier can tell you that.      ...

Hello, world. Here we go. Let me simply confess right now that I am not much of a blogger. My tentative forays into blogdom have been brief and unsatisfying, but today I endeavor to change this. Nay. I shall change this! Sweeping declaration number one. Allow me to introduce myself. I'm a writer. And before you ask, the answer is yes. I am one of the eccentric ones. Who isn't eccentric nowadays, though, right? But I digress. When I say I am a writer, it means that it is an intrinsic part of my personality. Why am I wired this way? I just am. No matter where I work, I always end up feverishly scribbling ideas, and sometimes chapters, down on whatever paper-like substance is closest. Only recently, however, have I begun  to publish my books. Which is exciting! I have a few writer friends and I cherish them. I'm not sure if they're like me in the way they write or if they have their own methods. As for me, though, I like to be alone when I start tapping away on th...
